Working principle
Magnetic elements in the flow path capture ferromagnetic particles. Review contaminant magnetism, flow, bar arrangement and cleaning.
Construction & flow path
Magnetic elements occupy the housing flow path. Count, spacing, wetted sleeves and removal direction affect contact and cleaning.
Applications & filtration duty
For ferromagnetic contaminants. Nonmagnetic particles require suitable bag, cartridge or screen filtration; flux figures alone do not establish removal results.
Technical parameters
Use these specifications for selection. Materials, dimensions and operating conditions follow the selected model and agreed specification.
Selection information
- Fluid & viscosity
- Operating flow (m³/h)
- Operating / design pressure (MPa)
- Connection size & standard (DN / in)
- Dimensions & service clearance (mm)

Information to prepare for an inquiry
Use this family’s selection priorities to share available operating conditions, equipment information or drawings.
- First confirm contaminant magnetism, size and concentration.
- Specify flux measurement position, temperature and method.
- Review velocity, bar spacing, cleaning and removal clearance.
Operation & maintenance
Before opening, replacing elements or disassembly, stop and isolate under the equipment procedure, depressurize, drain and confirm zero pressure. Clean around accumulated loading, inspect sleeves and seals and isolate before service. Record captured material to refine cleaning intervals.
Common operating inputs
- Fluid and major composition
- Target flow and operating pattern
- Operating temperature and pressure
- Contaminant form and target rating
- Material, connection and space constraints
- Maintenance frequency and existing equipment
