- QMBV
- Selection priorities
- Fluid compatibility, body material, temperature, pressure, connections, installation space and maintenance
Working principle
QMBV uses parallel bag filtration with a single-screw quick-opening cover for servicing. The bags determine the filtration rating.
Construction & flow path
Review the quick-opening cover, closure parts, bag seats and baskets together, allowing the full cover-opening path.
Applications & filtration duty
For larger bag-filter duties where service access matters. For frequent changes, review draining, cover handling and used-bag disposal.
Technical parameters
Use these specifications for selection. Materials, dimensions and operating conditions follow the selected model and agreed specification.
Materials & construction
- Body materials
Carbon steel (CS) / 304 / 316 stainless steel.
- Cover opening method
Single-screw cover opening with a quick-opening construction; follow the equipment instructions for operation and depressurization.
- Seal construction and selection
General seal construction; confirm the sealing ring against chemical compatibility, temperature and bag-ring fit.
Filtration specifications
- Bag quantity
1–24 bags; confirm the quantity against the model.
- Compatible bag sizes
Size 1 or Size 2; the last digit denotes bag size and the preceding digits denote quantity.
Operation & maintenance
- Pressure-grade options
Check pressure class, design pressure and operating pressure separately for the specific model and service temperature.
Connections & installation
- Connection options
NPT / BSP / flange / quick connections; confirm size and standard against the specific model.
Configuration & supply scope
- Ordering example and fields

- Nozzle layouts
Layouts 1–15; layout 3 is side-in / lower-side-out. Layouts 12–15 include a return pipe; confirm direction from the drawing.
- Custom configuration
Custom requests may cover bag quantity, body material, connections, nozzle layout, cover lifting and seals; supply scope follows the approved drawing.
- Ordering information
Provide the complete QMBV model to check bag quantity, size, material, connections and nozzle orientation.

Information to prepare for an inquiry
Use this family’s selection priorities to share available operating conditions, equipment information or drawings.
- Define bag count, change frequency and service-time needs.
- Check the quick cover against piping and platform clearance.
- Select seals and bags for the fluid and review pressure conditions separately.
Operation & maintenance
Before opening, replacing elements or disassembly, stop and isolate under the equipment procedure, depressurize, drain and confirm zero pressure. Quick access does not remove isolation and depressurization steps. Inspect the closure, cover seal and every bag seat before reassembly.
Common operating inputs
- Fluid and major composition
- Target flow and operating pattern
- Operating temperature and pressure
- Contaminant form and target rating
- Material, connection and space constraints
- Maintenance frequency and existing equipment
