Working principle
TBV uses a top-entry single-bag layout, passing liquid through the selected bag into the filtered-liquid path.
Construction & flow path
Review the convex cover and top-entry arrangement together with overhead piping. Match the bag and seal to the seating arrangement.
Applications & filtration duty
For single-bag duties suited to top-entry piping. Agree port directions, cover access and the bag-removal path together.
Technical parameters
Use these specifications for selection. Materials, dimensions and operating conditions follow the selected model and agreed specification.
Materials & construction
- Body materials
304 stainless steel; 316 stainless steel option.
- Cover construction
Convex cover and top-entry construction; confirm the flow path against the nozzle layout.
- Seal construction
One housing sealing ring; select the seal material against fluid compatibility, temperature and the specific model.
Filtration specifications
- Bag quantity and size
One bag; 11 denotes Size 1 and 12 denotes Size 2.
Operation & maintenance
- Pressure-grade options
7 / 10 / 20 Bar grade options; confirm design and operating pressure for the specific model.
Connections & installation
- Inlet and outlet connections
2 / 3 in NPT or flanged connections; confirm the flange standard, class and actual size against the model.
- Flow arrangement
Top entry; check outlet orientation, nozzle height and maintenance space for the model and installation drawing.
Configuration & supply scope
- Ordering example and fields
TBV12-304-10-DN50-2: one Size 2 bag / 304 / 10 Bar grade / DN50 / layout 2; confirm the actual configuration.
- Nozzle layouts
Layouts 1–15; the ending number denotes the nozzle layout. Layout 2 is side-in / bottom-out. Layouts 12–15 include a return pipe; confirm direction from the drawing.

Information to prepare for an inquiry
Use this family’s selection priorities to share available operating conditions, equipment information or drawings.
- Check interference between overhead piping and cover access.
- Provide normal/peak flow and liquid viscosity.
- Choose bag size, rating and wetted seal materials.
Operation & maintenance
Before opening, replacing elements or disassembly, stop and isolate under the equipment procedure, depressurize, drain and confirm zero pressure. Isolate and drain before replacement. Inspect the inlet path and ring seat, then check sealing and pressure drop on restart.
Common operating inputs
- Fluid and major composition
- Target flow and operating pattern
- Operating temperature and pressure
- Contaminant form and target rating
- Material, connection and space constraints
- Maintenance frequency and existing equipment
