Working principle

CBV retains particles in one bag, with the housing, support basket and bag seal forming the filtration path.

Construction & flow path

The concave cover is this series' distinguishing construction. Match pipe orientation, bag size and seals to the specific model.

Applications & filtration duty

For process liquids requiring periodic bag replacement, considering both change frequency and residual-liquid handling.

Technical parameters

Use these specifications for selection. Materials, dimensions and operating conditions follow the selected model and agreed specification.

Materials & construction

Body materials

304 stainless steel; 316 stainless steel option.

Cover construction

Concave cover with multiple locking bolts.

Seal construction

One housing sealing ring; select the seal material against fluid compatibility, temperature and the specific model.

Filtration specifications

Bag quantity and size

One bag; 11 denotes Size 1 and 12 denotes Size 2.

Operation & maintenance

Pressure-grade options

7 / 10 / 20 Bar grade options; confirm design and operating pressure for the specific model.

Connections & installation

Inlet and outlet connections

2 / 3 in NPT or flanged connections; confirm the flange standard, class and actual size against the model.

Flow arrangement

Side-in / side-out on the same or different sides, or side-in / bottom-out; follow the approved drawing.

Configuration & supply scope

Ordering example and fields

CBV12-304-10-DN50-2: one Size 2 bag / 304 / 10 Bar grade / DN50 / layout 2; confirm the actual configuration.

Nozzle layouts

Layouts 1–15; the ending number denotes the nozzle layout. Layout 2 is side-in / bottom-out. Layouts 12–15 include a return pipe; confirm direction from the drawing.

Selection information

  • Operating temperature, flow, dimensions and seal grade

Model and configuration notes

Series + bag quantity/size + material + pressure-grade field + connection + nozzle layout

In the BV system, the last core digit identifies bag size and the preceding digits identify quantity; check pressure class for the specific model and order specification.
