Working principle

Liquid passes through a screen or basket that retains solid debris. Opening, effective area, solids load and flow influence pressure loss and the service interval.

Construction & flow path

A T-shaped body is combined with a removable screen. Confirm inlet, outlet and service-port relationships from the actual drawing.

Applications & filtration duty

A pipeline-protection direction where site layout matters. The T shape alone does not establish flow direction or screen installation.

Technical parameters

Use these specifications for selection. Materials, dimensions and operating conditions follow the selected model and agreed specification.

Selection information

  • Fluid & viscosity
  • Operating flow (m³/h)
  • Operating / design pressure (MPa)
  • Operating / design temperature (°C)
  • Effective filtration area (m²)
  • Differential pressure & service trigger (MPa)
  • Dimensions & service clearance (mm)

Model and configuration notes

Configuration for your application

Share the fluid, filtration goal, operating conditions and installation requirements. Existing models, nameplates or drawings help us review the configuration.

Information to prepare for an inquiry

Use this family’s selection priorities to share available operating conditions, equipment information or drawings.

  • Provide the piping layout and desired port directions.
  • Confirm screen-removal direction and service space.
  • Review pressure loss from opening, flow and solids loading.

Operation & maintenance

Before opening, replacing elements or disassembly, stop and isolate under the equipment procedure, depressurize, drain and confirm zero pressure. Isolate, depressurize and drain before removal. Inspect the screen and seat after cleaning and reinstall for the agreed flow direction.

Common operating inputs
  • Fluid and major composition
  • Target flow and operating pattern
  • Operating temperature and pressure
  • Contaminant form and target rating
  • Material, connection and space constraints
  • Maintenance frequency and existing equipment
