Working principle

Two filter units are connected by pipework. Series, parallel and changeover arrangements serve different purposes; valves and routing determine operation.

Construction & flow path

Two bag housings are combined: series routing supports stages and parallel routing splits flow. Changeover service needs a separately agreed valve arrangement.

Applications & filtration duty

For staged filtration, expanded throughput or changeover maintenance. The twin designation does not itself guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Technical parameters

Use these specifications for selection. Materials, dimensions and operating conditions follow the selected model and agreed specification.

Selection information

  • Fluid & viscosity
  • Operating flow (m³/h)
  • Operating / design temperature (°C)
  • Filtration rating (μm)
  • Differential pressure & service trigger (MPa)
  • Dimensions & service clearance (mm)

Information to prepare for an inquiry

Use this family’s selection priorities to share available operating conditions, equipment information or drawings.

  • First define series, parallel or changeover routing.
  • Specify each side's bag rating, media and duty.
  • Provide valves, isolation, venting, draining and service access.

Operation & maintenance

Before opening, replacing elements or disassembly, stop and isolate under the equipment procedure, depressurize, drain and confirm zero pressure. Record each body's pressure drop and bag condition. Isolate under the agreed flow plan and service series stages according to their own duties.

Common operating inputs
  • Fluid and major composition
  • Target flow and operating pattern
  • Operating temperature and pressure
  • Contaminant form and target rating
  • Material, connection and space constraints
  • Maintenance frequency and existing equipment
