Working principle
PLAT combines a bag-format envelope with pleated media for particle retention in liquids.
Construction & flow path
A bag-format envelope does not mean it fits every bag housing. Match dimensions, support, end seals and flow path individually.
Applications & filtration duty
A direction for increasing filtration area within a bag-filter envelope. Check the original housing and interfaces before a retrofit.
Technical parameters
Use these specifications for selection. Materials, dimensions and operating conditions follow the selected model and agreed specification.
Materials & construction
- Filter media
Polypropylene microporous membrane with a PP support.
- Construction & fabrication
Bag-format pleated cartridge.
- Seal-material codes
D=NBR; E=EPDM.
Filtration specifications
- Filtration ratings
0.1 / 0.22 / 0.45 / 1 / 5 / 10 μm
- Size 1
Size 1; check dimensions and flow against the installation space, fluid and allowable differential pressure.
- Size 2
Size 2; check dimensions and flow against the installation space, fluid and allowable differential pressure.
- Filtration area
Filtration area follows the selected element dimensions; assess it with target flow and allowable differential pressure.
Operation & maintenance
- Operating temperature
≤90 °C
- Element pressure selection
Review element pressure capability separately from housing pressure, considering the fluid, service temperature and allowable differential pressure.
Configuration & supply scope
- Application codes
Blank = general-use code; F = food-use code; E = electronics-use code. Review materials, tests and supporting documents for the project requirements.
Model and configuration notes
PLAT + application grade + rating + size + sealLength, end and seal codes are interpreted within the relevant series; the same letter may mean different things in another family.

Information to prepare for an inquiry
Use this family’s selection priorities to share available operating conditions, equipment information or drawings.
- Provide original housing, basket and seat dimensions.
- State whether replacing a bag or building a new unit.
- Review rating, flow and clean pressure loss for the actual liquid.
Operation & maintenance
Inspect pleats and seals during changes and check for bypass after fitting. Do not assume ordinary bag-cleaning practices apply to the pleated cartridge.
Common operating inputs
- Fluid and major composition
- Target flow and operating pattern
- Operating temperature and pressure
- Contaminant form and target rating
- Material, connection and space constraints
- Maintenance frequency and existing equipment
Discuss this product’s configuration
Share the fluid, operating and installation conditions to review suitable specifications.
Products can be configured around the actual duty. Final specifications follow the quotation, drawing or technical agreement confirmed by both parties.
