Reordering filter bags and cartridges: what to check
Use the previous model as a starting point, then check dimensions, fittings, seals, media and rating basis. Similar appearance does not prove compatibility.
Keep the existing specification
Start with labels, previous orders, photographs and measured dimensions. Codes cannot be interpreted interchangeably across product families; do not fill in missing fields by assumption.
Check fit and filtration requirements
For bags, check size, ring, dimensions, material and rating. For cartridges, check length, diameter, end fittings, seals and media. Confirm the fluid, temperature, pressure and rating basis as well.
Confirm changes before reordering
Tell us if the process, fluid or element construction has changed. Cross-brand replacement requires document or sample review. Direct interchangeability and a fixed service life are not assumed.
